How many types of finishes are available?
Three - Choose from white, grey, or natural wood.
What are the closets made of?
Alcove Closets closets are made from furniture-grade wood with 1mm thick PVC edge banding. This maximizes durability. We add chrome hardware.
Is Alcove Closets a locally owned company or a franchise?
We are a locally owned company. Our closets are manufactured at our factory in New Jersey and are installed around the US by our trusted closet installers.
Can I re-adjust my closets if I want to change them?
Absolutely! Alcove Closets builds modular closet systems that are made from many units. They can be reconfigured as you wish.
How are your closets secured?
Alcove Closets closets are wall-mounted through cleats into the wall studs.
How long will it take to install my closets?
From the time of your first appointment and ordering of the closets, your system can be manufactured within 5 business days and shipped from our facility in NJ. Your local installer will arrive to complete the job once they arrive at your home. The whole process takes just 2-4 weeks.
Do you offer financing?
Yes, we do! The interest rate will depend on your credit score. This can be determined during your design consultation.
What is included in the price of a closet?
The price you are quoted is the final price for the complete system, including the modules, hardware, and installation.
How much does a typical custom closet cost?
This will depend on the size of the space, the finish you choose, and the amount of accessories. You can expect to pay between $1000 and $2000 for a reach-in closet and between $2,500 and $12,000 for a walk-in closet, depending on the size, including shipping and installation. Pantry closets range from $700 to $2500 all-inclusive.
What types of spaces do you design closets for?
Alcove Closets designs and manufactures closets for a variety of spaces, including master bedrooms, guest rooms, pantry closets, linen closets, toy closets, mudroom shelving, office closets, and garages.
What happens after I fill out the form for a quote?
After you call or fill out the form, we will contact you to schedule a free in-home consultation. During the consultation, your in-home designer will assess your needs and design the perfect closet for your space and your goals. Once you approve the design and complete the purchase, you'll schedule the installation and we'll send the design to our NJ center for manufacturing.
What is included with my closet consultation?
Your free consultation will take about 45 minutes. The designer will meet you in your home to discuss your needs and measure the space. We'll use our proprietary 3D closet design software and you will be able to make unlimited revisions until you are completely satisfied with the design. You can design multiple closets during the same consultation.
